Google AdSense Serves Bold Text & Fonts

I know that there are ways to change the format of Google AdSense ads on the publisher side of the equation, but tonight I noticed that Google is serving some AdSense ads on Search Engine Journal with bolded text and would like to share the screen cap with readers. Are you seeing this on other sites? I’ve been pretty impressed recently with the changes Google is making with the serving of AdSense ads, beyond font changes and other creative changes which can be made in the AdSense coding (which can get a site banned). Question, does the bold grab your interest as a reader? Since it is on the right side of the post, and this sidebar ad doesn’t perform as well as others, I’m wondering if the bolding does n fact draw the reader eye to the right side of the page, heightening the chances of clicking on the ad.
